OMK was formed by three colleagues in 2007, with an ambition to provide quality-driven structural engineering solutions for discerning clients.
As engineers, we are motivated by a desire to solve problems and are continually trying to find ingenious solutions to the questions posed of us. This is not just the selection of appropriate materials but also elegance in design achieved via a creative process of collaboration.

We are interested in applicants for the following positions:
Cad Technician – Must be fully competent with Revit & AutoCad.
Civil Engineer – 2-5 years relevant experience necessary.
Structural Engineer – 0-5 years relevant experience preferred but not essential

How We Work
Since our formation we have developed successful ongoing relationships with other design professionals and developers, that has led to delivering a broad portfolio of high quality projects.
We have also grown in size, now employing a highly skilled team of engineers and technicians, which allows us to deliver a wide range of projects in both size and number.
The company is primarily involved in structural design commissions for building projects up to £10M including new buildings, alterations, extensions and refurbishment projects.
In particular we have completed many commissions on high quality, design-driven, residential projects; ranging from contemporary new build houses to refurbishment and alteration of historic buildings.
Services
Structural Engineering design from concept to construction.
Structural design for new buildings in all major construction materials, including steel, concrete, masonry and timber. This includes multi-storey framed structures, retaining structures, basements and reinforced masonry structures.
Structural design consultancy for conversion and extension of existing structures, including appraisals relating to feasibility for planning submissions and listed building applications.
We can also provide below ground drainage design, typically where associated with building projects where we can provide a combined engineering design for Civil and Structural Services.
