A development incorporating 70 new houses and a village shop in this Oxfordshire village, for the Duchy of Cornwall, which understandably required traditional construction materials and details. But not all of the twist detailed brick chimneys are in use; the false ones are cleverly supported structurally within the zone to maximise the space in the rooms below.
